Taiwan's Per Capita GDP (PPP) By the End of 2012

(A) My comment:
(a) At the end of each year, Economist publishes a single issue forecasting events and data for the next year. In contrast to CIA World Factbook, which every January releases estimations for the past year (which are subject to changes through the year), Economist projects a year ahead. So Economist's The World in 2012 will set forth numbers that is a year apart from CIA World Factbook (2012 edition) of next January.
(b) The World in 2012, like previous ones, does not publish projections for every nation (small one not included).
(c) The World in 2012 was mailed out at the beginning of December (2011).
(d) CIA World Factbook (2011; estimations for 2010) for the first time listed Taiwan's per capita GDP leading France, Germany and United Kingdom by roughly $2,000.
(e) At the end of next year, Economist forecasts that Taiwan's per capita GDP (PPP) will overtake Canada's and Australia's.
(f) Like all information-gathering organizations, Economist predicts per capita GDP (PPP) between Taiwan and S Korea has widened (S Korea has lagged, in other words) sincee data started being collected, around 1960.
(g) The World in 2011 (by Economist) was more charitable, predicting Taiwan's per capita GDP PPP at ($40,290).
