Indeed the beneficiary is “University of Southern California’s occupational science and therapy program,” according to today’s WSJ. 南卡罗来纳大学 is a typo.
(ii) and mentions the Chan brothers parents: Mr and Mrs TH Chan 陈曾熙.
(TH for “Tseng-Hsi.“ The Chans, when in HONG KONG, has “Chan Tseng-Hsi” in terms of the order of the surname and given name).
