(ZTE's smartphone -- the $80 Tempo Go with "Android Go," custom version of Android -- was released on March 30, 2018, in US for American market. The Tempo Go has only a fraction of the computing power of a standard smartphone. But this smartphone's future is in peril, because US Department of Commerce banned ZTE's access to US technologies. "Remarkably, ZTE almost doubled its share of the US market last year to 11.2%, according to Canalys." Outside US, phones with Android Go are made by Chinese makers TCL Corp and Transsion Holdings 传音控股, as well as Finland's Nokia Corp and India's Lava International Ltd, plus Huawei for South Africa's market.
