My comment:
(a) Every Sunday, Business section of New York Times publishes an oral
history of an executive in a column called The Boss, which this week
features Ms. Meyer.
(b) A biology major, I learned biostatistics as a course in college (Taiwan)
and in graduate school (Univ. of Illinois), respectively. So I cannot
fathom how a statistician turns into a pro for executive pays.
