Dexter Roberts, China Doubles Down on Iraqi Oil. Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Jan 21, 2013 (title in print). http://www.businessweek.com/arti ... y-exxons-iraq-stake

 Quote:

"China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC) is jointly operating three fields in the south producing 1.4 million barrels a day—more than half Iraq’s output.

"Iraq, which pumps 3 million barrels of crude a day, is expected to reach 8 million barrels by 2035, according to the Paris-based International Energy Agency. By then, 80 percent of Iraqi production will go to China.

 My comment:
 (a) The summary underneath the title in print: A Chinese oil company may buy Exxon's Iraq stake.
 (b) The title of the article in table of contents in print: Baghdad to Beijing: The Silk Road of oil.
 (c) Quotations 1 and 2 do not comport. The "1.4 million barrels" is slightly LESS than half Iraq's daily oil output.
