My comment:
(1) This Economist article is so new that other than it, there is little information about perseus, the munition, or MPR-500 (see next).
(2) Napalm is coined by combining NAphthene with PALMitate.

(a) You know from the title of the web page what MPR stands for.
(b) Israel Military Industries Ltd (IMI), established in 1933* and "fully owned by the Israeli government" ("About IMI" in the web site), is an Israeli weapons manufacturer that makes this bomb.

(b) Why backronym? Because GBU-43/B had an original utility name Massive Ordnance Air Blast bomb, which was shortened to MOAB; the latter then was expanded into "Mother of All Bomb."

Incidentally, Moab is a city in Utah.

. I had serious doubt, however. Taiwan has FGM-148 Javelin, an USA-made man-portable anti-tank guided missile.

There is no way gun fires (as Trophy is) can deflect a missile that powerful, as opposed to a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG)--or a bomb from the sky.
