(i) So far, only US has successfully managed to produce EMALS. The first American aircraft carrier to use EMALS is USS Gerald Ford (broke a Champagne, christened and launched in Nov 9, 2013; commissioned on July 22, 2017)
(ii) Queen Elizabeth II will come to Pearl Harbor to commission HMS Queen Elizabeth on Dec 7, the anniversary. That aircraft carrier is diesel-fueled, will use F-35B aided by ski-jumped, without launch system.
