My comment: It may sound foolish, but I see nothing wrong. Credit cards charge some 22% annual interest rates for unpaid debts.

(2) Oz Johnson, In Praise of the 10-Percent Wrong Relationship; There is a fear of imperfection in any love lives, but what if one embraces a flaw instead?   At page 6 of SundayStyles section (as is the Tiny Love Stories).

Excerpt in the window of print: The only three men I had ever imagined a future with all told me that something was missing, and I had let their words haunt me for years, scouring my memories of us for flaws.

(3) Steve Patschke, The Kids' Table. (in the weekly mini column "Tiny Love Stories").

full text: "On Thanksgiving, there aren't as many of us adults as there used to be. We hold places in our hearts for our deceased family members, those of the oldest generation.
Now, our kids, who are far from being children anymore, outnumber us. They gather around the big table (the 'adults' table'), talking about celebrities in terms we know nothing about.
We sit quietly at the small table (formerly the 'kids' table'), smiling to each other at the passage of time, in awe of how the Tables have turned.

Note: The photo that came with it shows just three persons. The photo is not a close-up ("close-up" can be a noun or an adverb, but not an adjective. Per merriam-wbster.com). So it is hard to tell whether the three are mother and two teenage daughters, or three daughters.
